    1. A very easy book to read but really disgusted at the ending The author wanted a happy ending so rewarded a domestically violent man excusing this unacceptable behaviour.

    2. I love how Josephine Cox s books make me both smile and teary eyed It s been years since I read her books and knowing how much I loved them, yesterday decided to re read them all starting with this one I have to admit once I started I couldn t put the book down until I finished it Even though I had a feeling I knew exactly how it was going to end However, was a bit disappointed as I felt the ending was a bit rushed Would have been nice to have of the secrets spilled out and see characters react [...]

    8. A nice book if you like a simple story and a happy ending in fact the final line was And all was well I don t suppose I need to hide this for spoilers, because everyone knows if you pick up a book from this kind of author, it s going to be a happy ever after ending It was all a little too conveniently wrapped up for me, with everyone forgiving everyone else without much explanation or working through feelings, think that s why Trollope works for me better Nevertheless, if you are after a quick, [...]
