    1. A continuation of Carrie s story I don t know what possessed me to pick up book number two when I didn t care all that much for the first one It isn t that the books are poorly written for the most part the story carries you along and you are anxious to know what happens next BUT these books are for sadists When you consider all that Carrie goes through physically it is a wonder she didn t require a lengthy hospital stay not to mention how screwed up a person would have to be mentally to find th [...]

    2. Sting Kink Rating Story Review Rating 4 Paddles The sequel to Carrie s Story is an interesting continuation of Carrie s chronicles A year has passed since Carrie s been sold by Jonathan Carrie s return gives both Jonathan and the reader a glimpse into her year in captivity She s been trained as a racing pony girl She shares her experiences with Jonathan in exchange for stories from him. From a technical perspective, Ms Weatherfield s writing is flawless The story is well written with a gentle amb [...]

    3. Great sequel but in my opinion does not touch the first one Can be a bit confusing since you bounce back and forth between Carrie Now and Carrie the last year she did once sold and then factor in Jonathan now and Jonathan over the last year while Carrie was with Mr Constant. But overall a good read and my most FAVORITE parts were her doing the pony training and races

    4. Sequel to Carrie s storyMaybe I would have liked this better if I d read it in one fell swoop, but as it happened I went away in the middle and so had to pick up the threads when I returned POSSIBLE SPOILER Somehow this one seemed much less convincing than the first, and the terrible crime Jonathan commits by giving Carrie a letter as she begins her year of apprenticeship is hard to credit Likewise I felt the sudden turnabout at the end, with the introduction of a new character and Carrie s ulti [...]

    5. I decided to read this book to find out what Carrie did regarding Jonathan s letter I skipped through many of the pages because of pure boredom The pony play and much of the whole book I found disgusting The ending was like wow did it really just stop I gave it one star because of Carrie s decision I won t say any because I don t want to put a spoiler in here But if there does happen to be a third book I will not be reading it.

    6. I did not enjoy it as much as the first one, especially because of the weird switching between narrators It would have read better if it switched between no than 2 voices, the two main characters, but those two AND the usual third party narrator was just a bit too much and confusing The story itself also moved from the realm of being quite believable in the first book, to outlandish to the point of comical I the second which detracted from real immersion feeling The ending was just pathetic, l [...]

    7. I received this book from LibraryThing as an early review in exchange for my honest review Uhhhh I usually love these kind of books This one was hard to get through The stories would be interesting if they had been given enough time to actually tell it It s like you got into a scene and it would end I loved the idea of the book, but I don t think that the author gave the story the time it needed to become what it should ve been.

    8. The second book was just alright, it was really part 2 of the story I did not like the fact that the narration of the story kept changing from a character to another, it was very annoying Overall, just an ok story the end felt flat to me, it left me wanting to learn a bit about what direction Carrie s story was going to as well as Jonathan s

    9. This book was very hard to get through It was well written I did like the way Weatherfield went back and forth in the telling of the story Unfortunately, the subject matter was way to intense for my liking I am definitely a lover of romance and erotica, but the S M lifestyle is too much for me.

    10. well, I didn t see that comingybe things changed for Jonathon during Carrie s year away, or maybe his letter didn t really mean what Carrie was hoping it did but I kinda felt all along in this book that Jonathon s plans included Kate, Carrie d always be a slave but very happy with the ending Carrie s a very strong, brave girl

    11. I couldn t get through this book even though the writing was really good It just didn t have the romance element the way that I like In the end, it wasn t for me.

    12. I liked this better than the first book Like Carrie, I was hopeful, and there were some hot tender moments Unfortunately, the frog did not turn into a prince

    13. Really and truly, awful The sub dom dynamic was interesting, as was the pony play However, the insistence on forcing the pony play made it less enjoyable It was a chore to read The first one was the story of her coming to terms with her agreement This felt like the author living out a fantasy Honestly, if that s your bag, roll with it But, don t ruin the magic you had with the first one The constant switching of perspectives, including interruptions, was obnoxious and made the story hard to fol [...]

    14. Gives me gross rapey vibes Did not enjoy.Like She clearly doesn t enjoy it So why is she involved in it If there was any other character Or she was written in a way that it seemed like she was enjoying what happenedBut she doesn t really seem to enjoy it.So its just creepy rapey torture porn.Which is likeUgh.

    15. Yes, ladies and gentlemen You see a 4 star as opposed to my wildly enthusiastic 5 stars for Safe Word And I ll get to why in a minute Safe Word is the sequel to Carrie s Story Teeny spoiler alert The novel picks up as Carrie s Master Jonathan has sold her at a slave auction to a mysterious new master and this sequel gets harder, grittier, and debauched in mere pages While the S M elements including days long punishments at a group slave training facility at the hands of helpers, assistants, vis [...]

    16. Reviewed by CrystalBook provided by the publisher for reviewReview originally posted at Romancing the BookCarrie is a woman that knew she wanted something different in her sex life she was tired of the old boring thing all the time Now she has really went into even of the unknown then when she first started In this book we get different POV from the Dominant and the Sub.I read Carrie s Story and thought that I would read this one next It was nothing I thought I would be reading I was a little c [...]

    17. I didn t mind the first book, but could not read the second It just drove me nuts hahaI think I need to read something familiar at the moment hmm

    18. In this stunning sequel to Carrie s Story, he action gallops from sunbaked Greece to elegant Provence, by way of a secret tour of Paris Leaving her lover and master Jonathan behind, Carrie s got a tougher guy in charge now Initiated into ever strenuous and rigorous erotic techniques, she s presented with a challenging menu of earthly delights and endless possibility Groomed, collared and harnessed to her new master s exacting specifications, our smart ass, intrepid heroine nonetheless manages t [...]

    19. Safe Word is less titillating than the first book, but it s saturated with smart references to literature, linguistics, movies, and TV Carrie s observations are snide and mocking The contrast of her high I.Q against her emotional immaturity is jarring, but feels essentially true about a young twenty something who s consciously choosing to buck conventional s.Jonathan reveals himself to be an overgrown boy who s pretending to be some distorted version of a man, a revelation that s repeated with [...]

    20. From the author of Carrie s Story comes the continuing tale of a young woman s uncompromising sexual adventure Carrie leaves behind her life with Jonathan, the S M master who initiated her into a life of slave auctions, training regimes, and human ponies preening for dressage competitions Whisked away to Greece by the demanding gentleman who has chosen her as his own, she learns new, rigorous methods of sexual pleasure. This book is really a continuation of Carrie s Story and as such I would rec [...]

    21. I didn t think Safe Word was as good as the first book, Carrie s Story, but I did still enjoy it That may be, in part, due to my love of BDSM erotica as a genre though In the book I found a couple of things annoying, namely the prominance of Kate in the story As a character I didn t like her very much, somewhat because she both tops and bottoms, and because it was obvious that Carrie REALLY doesn t like her, and I felt sympathy to her Also the ending, it seemed a bit abrupt, and was a little co [...]

    22. I agree with other reviewers in that this one wasn t as good as Carrie s Story but it was still good I liked the alternating pov but found it a little confusing occasionally in the formatting and tenses like when one of them is telling a story and it is told as if it is in the present but then goes back to past tense and then all of a sudden one of them will start speaking to the other and then go back into the story again.Between these two books I got an interesting look at this lifestyle and t [...]

    23. The whole story here is about wanting eitherA For Carrie and Jonathan to end up togetherB Carrie to finally realize she s done it all as a sex slave by now and just give it upAfter having read the first book, I m pretty desensitized to the extreme sexual nature of the story and actually find that the dynamic that Carrie and Jonathan have is interesting The book does a great job of building up towards Carrie s final decision and I ll admit that when it seemed she d be making the decision I least [...]

    24. Safe Word is the continuing story for Carrie by Molly Weatherfield I thought this book was fantasy than real life experience Some of the torture instruments that were used on Carrie seemed a little far fetched for me such as the handle of the pizza board and the other end of a whisk I enjoyed the lead up to the twist at the end but some of the descriptions in this story showed me that research was still needed There are specific boots that are used in pony play and those were not mentioned in t [...]

    25. From what I remember, both this and Carrie s Story had some hot scenes in them The stories themselves were a little flat I remember shaking my head at the idea that Carrie was a grad student I did like the scene in Carrie s Story, I think where she was placed in a horse trailer and driven to a farm I don t find pony scenes that hot, normally, but here it was exciting.

    26. Well written sequel to Carrie s Story , with intimate details of pony training and other fetish fun It was told in the perspectives of the different major characters, which was a bit strange at times, and the ending just blew me away I had to read the last few pages a few times to get it, and I m not sure if I m satisfied or disappointed No spoilers here read it yourself

    27. This sequel to Carrie s Story was ok, not great not terrible In some ways this book is to Carrie s Story like Story of O Two is to Story of O the sequel in each case being quite different from the original book The ending was a letdown it almost seems to be written anticipating another book.

    28. If it has one star I liked it a lot If it has two stars I liked it a lot and would recommend itIf it has three stars I really really liked it a lot If it has four stars I insist you read it If it has five stars it was life changing

    29. I hate myself for not reading Book 1 yet I don t usually do that but this was instantly available.Obviously have to read Carrie s story now.I ve decided I don t care for Johnathan much dick but still want to know what happened earlier.Well written.
