    1. When Kerry Barrett emailed me and asked if I d like to review her Halloween chick lit release Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, I thought it sounded really interesting and I gratefully accepted With Halloween just around the corner, it was the perfect time to read the book and it was such a wonderful read Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered is such a lovely little book If you re going to enjoy it then you will have to like witches and magic and all that kind of stuff and luckily I do It s not m [...]

    2. I was kindly sent the third book in the Could It Be Magic series by Kerry Barrett to review, having not read the first two I decided to start at the beginning of the story with Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered as it sounded like a series I would love Esme Mcleod is a witch who works as a family lawyer in London She has been away from from her family up in Scotland since she was a teenager She had a disagreement with her mother over the use of magic, which Esme is not a fan of, except for when [...]

    3. This is a nice lighthearted read with a nice storyline It has a bit of humour within its pages also The fact that most of the book is set in Scotland made me a fan from the start But then again I am a bit biased lolEsme McLeod is living quietly and working hard when she is called and asked to return home to help look after her aunt, who is ill.As much as she wishes she didn t have to, Esme does as requested, and heads home Esme left 10 years before after an argument with her mum, and hasn t been [...]

    4. I read this series backward, so this Esme was not the Esme I expected from reading I Put a Spell on You I like her much here as the main character of her own story I also really liked her and Harry s mothers and the town locals I d love to see something in this setting, rather than the city setting of the second book.If you know small towns you know how this sort of thing goes Rumors spread, people talk, and suddenly you go from well loved to outcast Especially when someone is spreading rumors [...]

    5. It was an easy read, pleasant but not overly taxing The pace is plodding but speeds up at the end when you get all the revelations and answers and what not I found the plot and development quite obvious as I quickly figured out where the book was going However this didn t put me off continuing to read The romance was light and fluffy, all snogs and attractive men Its not my usual sort of story but I would recommend it to anyone who likes chick lit and doesn t want anything to heavy in their book [...]

    6. I thoroughly enjoyed this book It was an easy read and kept me engrossed from start to finish Esme is a lawyer that wants nothing to do with her family She is forced to go back home when her aunt is diagnosed with cancer She knows going back home means she will have to deal with her other and the fact that her family are witches Family, friends, exlovers, and new enemies all come into play as Esme tries to deal with returning home Witchcraft is a part of the story but the relationships and how t [...]

    7. A Sweet Little Story that could do with some better editing This book really was quite lovely, and certainly written with a lot of heart Sadly it s another one of those ebooks that could do with some solid editing, but really, most of the errors weren t enough to pull the reader out of the story, so I would recommend it it s just right for those of us who like a nice cozy read with a happy end.

    8. Esme is a witch in denial She gets pulled back into the family craft when her Aunt falls ill and she moves back home with her mom to help care for her and run the family business I found this book to be a cute and magical story about a girl finding her way back to her family and her hometown.

    9. As soon as I started reading this book I couldn t put it down, but when I had to apparently the children can t make their own dinner it was a lovely treat to pick up again I can t wait for the sequel and whatever is after that

    10. Good bit of fluff I read this story because I got it free It was a good read and didn t take long to finish

    11. I loved reading this book very fast moving and in some places funny although it does show the ugly truth of cancer
