    3. Romance, clean, Christian faith elementsI have read C W before This was an interwoven story I had a hard time keeping track of the different characters until the end of the story, which, I confess didn t draw me in that quickly That being said, it was still an interesting read Family, secrets, healing, past loves, and lots of couples in this mix The secrets that came out, the rift, and insecurities of some of the characters were well drawn out It was a good town story with lots of interweaving a [...]

    4. I have not read the previous two books in the series, so the large cast introduced in the first chapter left me utterly confused Who were these people and how were they connected It took me a whole seven or eight chapters until I had everybody straight That said, once I knew the cast, I was able to grasp their backstories and enjoy the book Jane s story contains the most honest portrayal of a woman trying to lose weight that I think I ve read I enjoyed each of the women s threads Jane, Meghan, A [...]

    5. The first half of this book is so full of problems and conflict in the various character s lives and relationships, I almost quit reading Walsh s writing is so good that she makes the reader really feel for the characters, and I was getting worn out and unhappy I m glad I persevered, however, because she does bring hope and resolution and progress by the end The characters mature, renew their faith, try new things, learn to trust, and learn what true love really is.

    6. PoignantThis was such a sweet, poignant read I loved it I really appreciated how the characters had realistic stories, particularly Jane s struggle with food I really related to that All in, all, this was a great, clean read that brought a beautiful close to the Sweethaven series.

    7. I was a bit confused at the beginning of this story with so many characters After I started getting the characters sorted out, I was able to enjoy the story However, my enjoyment would have been much greater if I had read the previous two books in this series.

    8. I loved this series and the stories of the struggles they faced and the healing and joy in the end Jane s struggle with her weight and self image particularly resonated with me personally Courtney Walsh has become a must read author for me.

    16. As usual, I managed to start with the final installment in a trilogy, bad habit of mine, reading the ending first I really picked it because it was seasonal Although I didn t know the back story, it was still a good read I really enjoyed it and although it is described as a Christian read, it was not preachy Loved the small town Christmas setting and the group of friends and family who had been estranged and managed to find their way back and form new, even stronger friendships Already have Swee [...]

    17. Courtney takes us back to charming town of Sweethaven and the group of ladies we have all come to love It s the holidays and there are all kinds of emotions swirling around What I have come to enjoy about this series is the loving community, and the camaraderie among the people that live there, they seem to pull together and want the best for each other There is of course drama, how could there not be with Lila even amongst the drama, Christmas magic shows up and touches everyone with it.

    18. Its Thanksgiving in Sweethaven and a group of friends and scrap bookers gather for the holidays The main characters have been friends since their school days The story brings us up to date with each of the women and shows us how their lives intermingle and how the friendships strengthen each one as they work through personal problems and issues This is a fantastic story of love, family, and friendships I was pulled in from the beginning with the warmth and love that the author brings to the char [...]

    19. Sweet storyThis was a sweet story to read right before Christmas I could identify with a couple of the characters in this book I loved the interaction between all the characters and all the different story lines One of the many things I took from this book was the importance of forgiveness Courtney Walsh is a wonderful author and I ve enjoyed reading many of her books Her stories always touch my heart.

    20. This final installment was interesting Definitely had less religion in it The previous book felt as though it was shoving religion down your throat I must say that while Jane was real to me, I just never warmed up to Adele Campbell At times this series felt a little too perfect and unrealistic to me.

    21. I received this book for Christmas from my scrapbooking friend and I just loved it A feel good book with a good message and a little scrapbooking added in the storyline to bring the messages home And it gave me some ideas for projects I am going to have to go to the Christian bookstore and find some of her books

    22. This is the third and final book of this series and I was sad to see it go As with the other two books I felt a sense of everyone of the characters in me and related to them I walked away feeling like second chances and forgiveness could change my world Th

    23. 3.5 stars This is a really sweet book Maybe I would have rated it 4 or 5 stars like most folks had I read the first two books of the series and really had invested time with the characters Having read it as a stand alone though, I still enjoyed it Makes me want to move so I can enjoy all the perks living in a small town.

    24. This is the third book in a series and I loved the series The characters and story grab you from the beginning I am sorry to see the series end They are great books that tell such a sweet story of love, acceptance and forgiveness in the lives of those around us I am looking forward to books by this author.
